Community Projects / Awareness / 2012 / Spirit Day

Spirit day was people bullied for who they loved. But bullies also bully other people. Personally I have never been bullied. (I was a bit too violent to be a target and my stink eye might have something to do with it.)

But bullies have also hurt smart people, "nerds." That's very stupid. There are many "nerds" out there that will make you life hell for making life hell for one fellow nerd. My brother was bullied by boys FOUR YEARS OLDER THAN HIM when he was in FIRST GRADE. First grade! Ten and eleven year olds bulling a five year old. That is messed up. And it was just because he was smart and they were not. (I don't think my brother actually noticed, he is very think skulled at times.)

Bullies, I also notice, are the popular people in my school. They pick on the "weird, unpopular" kids. Morons. I make it my mission sometimes to make certain that bullies don't bother my friends. Serious consequences can happen because of that.

On another note, I do not have this much purple stuff in my life. No where close.

Materials used; printer paper, copic multi-liner pens (.3, .5, and 1.0 mm), scanner, wacom bamboo capture, and photoshop elements 8.

Total time: 1 hour 45 minutes.

That was really deep, the bullying stuff. What makes bullying so bad is that adults who say that "if you are being bullied, come see us for help" always tell you when you come to them, "just ignore them". It's really sad, because words are what make people feel the worst.
